Autopilot Integration

Overview

Autopilot integration gives you the medium to send the email addresses of your giveaway participants directly to the Autopilot list.

Before you start

• You must have an active Autopilot account to use Autopilot integrations.
• In Autopilot, you must get API Key. Find out more about how to obtain the API Key in this article.
• In Autopilot, you can create a new list for collecting giveaway emails. But the old lists can also be used for this purpose.
• Use the Sign up for a newsletter action in case of the Socialman giveaway. The participants who completed this action will only be sent to Autopilot.

Connect and configure

For configuring integration between giveaway and Autopilot list, follow the steps below:

1. Log in to the dashboard, and press the Integrations tab.
2. Search the giveaway you are targeting to integrate and press the Integrations icon.
3. Search the Autopilot in the Add integrations section and press the Add icon on the right side.
4. Paste your API Key in the form. Next, download your Autopilot lists using the Click to download button. After the lists are downloaded, search the list where you prefer to send emails to and save the form.

After integration, the participant email address who completed the Sign up for a newsletter entry will be sent to Autopilot automatically. It will appear in the Autopilot list within a couple of minutes. Besides that, all those emails recorded in the giveaway earlier before setting up the integration will also be sent to the Autopilot list.

Deactivate integration

You have to delete integration if you want to stop sending email addresses to the Autopilot list. Below points present the simple steps you have to follow:

1. Log in to the dashboard, and press the Integrations tab.
2. Find the giveaway you want to disconnect from the list and press the Integrations icon.
3. From the Active integrations, find your Autopilot integration and press the Delete icon on the right side.

Testing

It is quite easy to test your integration accuracy. Complete the Sign up for a newsletter entry by participating yourself in the giveaway. After some time, you will see that the Autopilot list will show your email address.
