ConvertKit Integration

Overview

ConvertKit integration lets you directly receive the email addresses of the giveaway participants in your ConvertKit list.

Before you start

  • The ConvertKit integrations are only possible if you hold an active ConvertKit account.
  • You should get API Key in ConvertKit. Let how to get API Key by clicking here.
  • In ConvertKit, you can collect the giveaway emails in a new list. It is optional and your existing lists can also be used for collection.
  • In the case of Socialman giveaway, you must use the Sign up for a newsletter action. Otherwise, those participants who do not complete this action, will not be sent to ConvertKit.

Connect and configure

For integrating ConvertKit list and giveaway, the following steps can serve the purpose:

  1. Log in to the dashboard, and press the Integrations tab.
  2. Look for the giveaway you want to integrate and press the Integrations icon.
  3. In Add integrations, look for ConvertKit and press the Add icon on the right side.
  4. Paste your API Key in the form. After that, download your ConvertKit lists via the Click to download button. Next, select the list where you want to send emails and save the form.

After completing the integration part, the ConvertKit list will automatically start receiving email addresses of participants who have completed the Sign up for a newsletter action. The email addresses will show up in the list in just a few minutes. This integration will also let ConvertKit list receive the emails recorded before the integration was configured.

Deactivate integration

To stop receiving email addresses in the ConvertKit list from the giveaway, follow the below-listed steps:

  1. Log in to the dashboard, and press the Integrations tab.
  2. Find the giveaway from whom you want to stop receiving and press the Integrations icon.
  3. Find your ConvertKit integration under the Active integrations and press the Delete icon on the right side.

Testing

It is really simple to test the configuration between the giveaway and ConvertKit list. Simply take part in a giveaway and fulfill the requirement of completing the Sign up for a newsletter action. After few minutes, you should see your email address appearing in the ConvertKit list.
