Mailjet Integration

Overview

Mailjet integration lets your Mailjet list receive the email addresses of your giveaway participants directly.

Before you start

• An active Mailjet account is compulsory to use Mailjet integrations.
• In Mailjet, you must get the API Secret and API Key parameters. Click here to learn how to obtain API Secret and API Key parameters.
• In Mailjet, you get the option to set up a new Mailjet list specific for storing giveaway emails. But you can also store the emails in any of your current Mailjet lists.
• In the Socialman giveaway, you must use the Sign up for a newsletter action. Mailjet list will receive only those participants who have used this action.

Connect and configure

Follow the below four steps to integrate your giveaway with the Mailjet list:

1. Log in to the dashboard, and click the Integrations tab.
2. Search for the giveaway that you are targeting to integrate with the Mailjet list and click the Integrations icon.
3. Search for Mailjet in the Add integrations section and click the Add icon on the right side.
4. Paste your API Secret and API Key parameters in the form. Next, use the Click to download button to download your Mailjet lists. After that, choose the list where you want to collect emails and save the form.

After completing the integration process, the email addresses of participants who have completed the Sign up for a newsletter action will be sent to Mailjet automatically. It will show up in the Mailjet list within a couple of minutes. The Mailjet list will also receive all those emails recorded before setting up the integration.

Deactivate integration

To stop receiving emails to the Mailjet listing, remove the active integration as follows:

1. Log in to the dashboard, and click the Integrations tab.
2. Search for the giveaway you want to deactivate and click the Integrations icon.
3. Under the Active integrations, search for your Mailjet integration and click the Delete icon on the right side.

Testing

It is easy to test whether the integration between giveaway and Mailjet list works perfectly. For that, take part in the giveaway by completing the Sign up for a newsletter action. After a couple of minutes, if your Mailjet list receives your email address, then your integration is properly configured.
