Omnisend Integration

Overview

Omnisend integration empowers you to send the email addresses of all the giveaway participants to the Omnisend list directly.

Before you start

Following are few points you need to know about before integrating giveaway with the Omnisend:

• Omnisend integration is only possible if you have an active Omnisend account.
• You must obtain the API Key in Omnisend. To get it, click here.
• In Omnisend, you can send the giveaway emails to your existing lists or create a new list dedicated for collecting emails from a giveaway.
• In the Socialman giveaway, it is essential to use the Sign up for a newsletter action. The participants that performed this action will only be sent to Omnisend.

Connect and configure

To integrate the Omnisend list and your giveaway, follow the below steps:

1. Log in to the dashboard and click the Integrations tab.
2. Find the giveaway that you want to configure and click the Integrations icon.
3. Find Omnisend in the Add integrations section and click the Add icon on the right side.
4. In the form, paste your API Key. Afterward, download your Omnisend lists using the Click to download button. Once you have access to Omnisend lists, find the list where you want the emails to be sent, and save the form.

After integration, all those participants who have completed the Sign up for a newsletter entry, their emails will be automatically sent to Omnisend. The emails will show up in the Omnisend list within a few minutes. The emails recorded in the contest prior to doing integration will also be sent to Omnisend.

Deactivate integration

In case you want to stop sending emails from a giveaway to the Omnisend mailing list, follow the below steps to delete the active integration:

1. Log in to the dashboard, and click the Integrations tab.
2. Find the giveaway you are targeting to disconnect and click the Integrations icon.
3. Find your Omnisend integration under the Active integrations and click the Delete icon on the right side.

Testing

In order to test your integration, take part in a giveaway and complete the Sign up for a newsletter action. Your email address should show up in the Omnisend list within a few minutes.
